The Muriel Taylor Scholars:

Ross Pople, Raphael Wallfisch & Friends

Tickets:    Donations to the Muriel Taylor Scholarship Fund

Forty years ago a group of musical friends - Yehudi Menuhin, Maurice Gendron, Ross Pople, the Amadeus Quartet and others - gave a gala concert and created a Scholarship for talented young cellists in memory of an exceptional teacher/colleague, Muriel Taylor.

The Scholarship has been instrumental in assisting some of the most distinguished cellists of our time on their way to a wonderful career: Raphael Wallfisch, Steven Isserlis, Alexander Baillie, Matthew Barley, Liwei Qin to name a few.

Forty years on, some of the past winners of the Scholarship are coming together in a cello extravaganza to raise awarness and further funds for the next generation of outstanding cellists.

Join us on Wednesday the 26th October at 7.30pm at The Warehouse

If you cannot attend but wish to support the Scholarship, please contact Elizabeth Szucs on 020 7928 9251 or email orchestra@lfo.co.uk
